A 48 year old woman has been accused of having sex with a 13 year old boy TWICE a week for the last two years. Melissa Eaton appeared in court to face multiple charges of rape and sodomy.
Court documents reveal that juvenile authorities alerted police about the ongoing sexual relationship between Eaton and the teenage boy at her home in New Madrid, Missouri.

But then again with close to 200k riding miles logged under my belt, I'm not too surprised given some of the stink eyes I still see from drivers when I lane split.

Anyways, given that this month is Motorcycle Awareness month, I thought I educate drivers that are unaware of the lane split privilege given to motorcyclists.

Here are the stats done by the Sacramento Bee today:

"The California Office of Traffic Safety today released the results of the survey on lane splitting, where motorcycles travel between two lanes with other vehicles traveling in the same direction.

The practice has been a source of controversy and confusion. Some car drivers object to lane-splitting, considering it dangerous, startling and unfair that motorcycles can get ahead in backed-up traffic.

Motorcycle riders enjoy the ability to squeeze between slower-moving traffic, thus allowing motorcyclists to get to where they are going in a timely manner.

The OTS survey of car, truck and motorcycle drivers came up with the following results:

 53 percent of vehicle drivers knew that lane splitting in California is legal.

 87 percent of motorcycle riders say they lane split.

 Seven percent of vehicle drivers admit to having attempted to prevent it."

For drivers that think it's "unfair that motorcycles can get ahead in backed-up traffic", or "attempted to prevent it", no one is stopping you from buying a motorcycle so you can take advantage of that privilege too. Therefore, stop crying. When motorcycle split lanes, it actually creates less back up so it's a win-win situation for all. If you can't see the logic and continue to cry, better f**k yourself instead.

For those that see it "dangerous", we know. As with any group, there are always a few bad apples in the basket. We will continue to do our best to educate idiotic riders that practice unsafe lane splitting. Sometimes, you can't fix stupid but it doesn't hurt to try it.
