3 more weeks to go .... could be less or more though .. depending on when my lil` girl wants to come into this world. Her room is pretty much ready for her. I just got a great deal on a glider rocker with ottoman that I will reupholster the cushions to a pink since they're blue right now.

Hub is more mellow and calm right now than me. I've been nesting and organizing and just got our hospital bags packed last night. Her scrapbook is looking a bit better since I've added 2 more pages...

Hub and I are really excited! Seeing the baby on the monitor was truly amazing. Her little head .. little hands .. and seeing the bottom of her little bootie and legs to determine it was a "she" was sooo cute! I wish I could see her at every appointment. It is truly amazing how a woman's body can adjust and carry a baby for 9 whole months. Guys out there do really need to give us women credit for that. We give up so much just to care for this little human...

He/she's getting bigger by the weeks! My belly's definately harder to hide now and it's getting more uncomfortable BUT Hubby and I are really excited. In two weeks, we'll go in for the ultrasound and I'm crossing my fingers, this baby will NOT try to hide itself. I really want to know if it's a boy or girl. We did it. We went looking around for some gold bands at the hmong jewelry stores on Saturday. Went to two stores but the 2nd one had the rings we both liked. They were willing to take old gold too. So we went back on Sunday with his little gold pendant his exgf gave him - 24karats. We traded that in and the lady took off $70 from his ring and she took off $30 off mine. So now we both have sparkly gold wedding bands. Later that day, he proposed to me, though it was not the way I ever dreamed it...

That's what I told him last night. I heard our baby's heartbeat at the doc yesterday. It was so breathtaking. I was so excited about it b/c I wasn't expecting her to use the doppler yet. But she did and we find the hearbeat right away. It was fast beating thing too! It started soft then became louder and faster. Wow. I recorded on my phone and texted it to him later. He was amazed too. It's just crazy ... to know I have a living little human being in my tummy right now. I've always dreamt of this...
